What is your role at ILLUME?
I am a Senior Research Analyst. I work on both qualitative and quantitative projects. I like to figure out how they work together.
Where are you from and where do you live now?
I’m originally from Flagstaff, AZ and now live in Tucson!
Who or what inspires you in your work?
I’m inspired by the end users of energy (aka all of us!). I want to make the process of being more efficient and comfortable as seamless as possible.
Do you have any pets?
Two darling cats named Dana Scully and Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
What are your favorite hobbies?
I’m a painter. I am currently working on a hand-painted, stop-motion documentary with my sister. I painted all the puppets and the sets.
What’s the worst job you’ve ever had?
Probably as a busser at a local breakfast joint; people are messy when they first wake up.
What is the best concert you ever attended?
Sufjan Stevens in his Carrie and Lowell tour.
What is your superpower?
I’m really good at seeing patterns in very messy data.
If you could have chosen another career path, what would you be doing?
Probably on my way to becoming a Supreme Court Justice. But…hey…most of them are in their 70’s so I have plenty of time.
