In this whitepaper, we identify barriers to equitable transportation electrification (TE) and recommend TE strategies that can unlock electric vehicle (EV) access in Black and Brown Communities. We do this by drawing on an in-depth case study of the Black-owned electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) company, KIGT, and its efforts to serve communities in South Los Angeles.
