Alana is a strategic, human-centered, and impact-driven researcher with a strong foundation in both qualitative and quantitative methods. With a background in product management and psychology, she’s skilled at uncovering the human stories behind business decisions—ensuring that customer/user voices are not only heard but deeply understood. Her work spans complex SaaS and digital B2C/B2B products and services in various industries including learning management, early-stage technology, non-profit, healthcare, and financial services.
Her motivation in research is to uncover actionable insights that influence strategy, experience design, and organizational alignment. From generative discovery to evaluative testing, she has led end-to-end research studies that have helped shape strategic product direction, increased customer satisfaction and supported key organizational growth metrics. In all of her work, Alana prioritizes building strong cross-functional partnerships, translating abstract problems into research opportunities, and making stakeholders feel invested in the outcomes.
Outside of work, Alana is a mom to twin boys who she enjoys wrangling on a daily basis with her husband, Marc. In another life, Alana would have been a (highly successful) working musician/singer/songwriter. In this one, she’ll settle for singing around the campfire or to her kids whenever they aren’t trying to drown her out with KidzBops.
Alana is based in Tucson, Arizona.
