Latisha Younger-Canon works at the forefront of customer experience (CX) across nearly all aspects of the energy industry. She is deeply invested in understanding what makes customers and clients tick, how to draw out feedback, find actionable solutions, and solve real-world problems. Her experience in energy covers both regulatory and non-regulatory utility operations. She is an expert in demand-side management (DSM) programs, having worked extensively in program evaluation, design, and implementation for more than 30 utility clients. She is well-versed in leading projects tied to customer programs and initiatives, overseeing delivery operations for large-scale utility projects, and managing large and diverse teams.
Latisha has cultivated her expertise through multi-faceted professional experiences at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Opinion Dynamics, Navigant, and Guidehouse. A former Ph.D. candidate in Political Science at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, she also holds a master’s degree from Western Illinois University. Presently, she serves as a Principal Consultant at Illume Advising, where she is dedicated to the development, implementation, and leadership of initiatives across the organization.
She has further enriched her career through active involvement in numerous industry groups and organizations, such as the Association of Energy Services Professionals, Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance, Peak Load Management Association, International Energy Program Evaluation Conference, American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy, Public Utilities Fortnightly, Edison Electric Institute, American Association for Public Opinion Research, and the American Evaluation Association.
