The energy industry is rapidly deploying new technologies and reinvigorating rate and energy solutions to combat climate change. How do these changes – and the urgency of these changes – align with the fundamentals of evaluation? In this article, we consider a new evaluation paradigm that breaks through existing EM&V roadblocks to support innovation that will achieve climate change, social, and policy goals.
